The travel souvenir nobody
wants. Removed by Santander before the trip.
Young people travel as far as their money lets them, but every trip abroad comes with a small hidden enemy: the commissions that appear every time you pay in another currency or take out cash. So Santander launched its Cuenta Joven by turning that invisible cost into the one thing Gen Z understands instantly: a travel mistake you would never bring home on purpose. A film about tattoos, impulse decisions and post-trip regrets became a way to talk about a very practical benefit: paying abroad in any currency without commission and withdrawing cash three times a month at international ATMs with no Santander fee. Because before 30, the world is too big to pay extra just for moving through it.
